Website design for opticians.
Mobile-friendly websites for UK opticians and optometrists, with clear information and an easy route to booking. Website redesign and ongoing management first; optional diary, email and order workflows when your practice needs them.
Optical-industry experience behind your website.
Fifteen years in the industry with NDR Sports, our ecommerce sports-sunglasses business.
Running our own business has shown us how difficult managing prescriptions can be, alongside orders, customer questions and everyday admin. That practical ecommerce experience shapes our approach: understand what takes your team time, then build around it. Your practice retains responsibility for clinical decisions.
- PrescriptionsHelp organise the hand-off, with checks kept in your team's hands.
- Lab ordersExplore ways to reduce retyping and make outstanding orders easier to follow.
- QuestionsMake repetitive enquiries easier to manage without losing the personal reply.
Optician website design examples.
These are unsolicited, unofficial design concepts made by Vintrel to show what is possible. They are not clients, not endorsements and not live booking sites. No patient details are collected and no real appointments can be made.

Start with a clear optometry practice website. Add online appointment booking, email management, consent-based marketing, order tracking or local SEO as needed. Each piece stands on its own; choose one below to see its scope and limits.
A clean, welcoming website
Accessible, quick on a phone, easy to update. Your people, your frames, your opening hours and how to find you, written the way you would say it at the counter.

Whichever costs the most time: the diary, the inbox or the orders.
- Ongoing

Discuss your website- A website designed around your practice, ready for mobile
- Hosting, HTTPS security and core SEO setup
- Connection to your existing online booking service via a supported link or embedded booking form
- One annual content refresh: up to one hour of updates to existing pages
Booking connection depends on provider compatibility; booking-provider subscriptions and other third-party fees are separate. A custom diary, direct practice-management integration, extra changes or automation are quoted separately. Fixes to faults in our work do not use your annual content allowance. Scope, ownership, transfer terms and any applicable VAT are confirmed in your quote before work starts.
What we will not overstate.
These are services we scope and build
None of this is a ready-made lab, NHS or practice management integration. Each connection is agreed separately and depends on what your systems and suppliers support.
People make the clinical calls
Prescription and patient workflows need access controls, audit trails, a privacy and security review and staff approval. Automation prepares; your team decides.
Marketing and service messages are different
Mailings about new frames need opt-in and an unsubscribe. Reminders and order updates are service messages with their own consent and settings.
Your existing software stays
We fit around the practice management system you already use where that is practical. Replacing it is not a requirement.
Optician website design: your questions answered.
Yes. Vintrel designs and manages websites for UK opticians and optometry practices, with clear services, frame information, opening hours, location details and a straightforward way to book or contact your team.
Yes. We can review your current website, retain useful content and plan a clearer, mobile-friendly replacement. Existing URLs and any necessary redirects are reviewed before launch to help preserve search visibility.
Yes, where your booking provider supports it. We can link to or embed your existing booking service, or scope appointment requests separately. Live diary integration depends on your provider and agreed access.
Yes. The website can use your own domain, with ongoing updates and management agreed around your practice. Domain access, hosting, ownership and any future handover are confirmed before work starts.
No. The starting point is a website, which needs nothing from it. Later add-ons are designed around what your system can share. If something is not possible with it, we say so.
Possibly, if your lab offers a suitable API or agreed access. That is scoped separately, and a member of staff checks every order before it goes into production.
No. The background is fifteen years running NDR Sports, an ecommerce sports-eyewear business, including prescription orders and the admin around them. Clinical judgement stays with your team.
The website package starts at £25 per month with a £299 one-off setup fee. It includes a mobile-friendly practice website, hosting and HTTPS, core SEO setup, connection to an existing supported booking service and one annual content refresh of up to one hour. Custom booking systems, additional changes and advanced workflows are quoted separately. Any third-party charges and applicable VAT are confirmed in your quote before work starts.
One content refresh each year, covering up to one hour of changes to existing pages: for example, opening hours, staff details, services, images or frame brands. New pages, a redesign or new features are quoted separately. Fixing faults in our work is separate from this allowance and does not wait for the annual refresh.
